Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to run our accounts payable function within the Property Management Department. We are happy to consider candidates for a part time or full-time position dependent on their preference and suitability to the role.
With a portfolio of assets under management with an approximate capital value of €1.5Bn. and an annual service charge expenditure of approximately €15m this is a busy role within the team.
The successful candidate will join the finance team of the Property Management Department.
Applicants looking for a part time position must work an initial full time 6 month probationary period during which they must demonstrate the experience and ability to successfully manage the Accounts Payable function in a part time capacity. We believe the accounts payable function is capable of being performed within a 25-30 hour working week by an efficient, experienced and organised person.
Applicants looking for a full-time position will be expected to demonstrate proficiency with the accounts payable function within the initial 6 month probationary period following which additional duties will be assigned to them to create a full time position.
The role will include however would not be limited to;
Key Responsibilities (Part time):
- Accounts payable function.
- Dealing with suppliers and payment requests.
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Liaising with property managers on payment requests
- Liaising with audit team throughout annual audit process.
Additional Duties (Full time) may include:
- Issuing budget vs actual expenditure reports to property managers
- Liaising with property managers in the preparation of service charge budgets
- VAT returns for management companies where necessary
- Preparation of tenant periodic and one-off invoices
- Liaising with tenants on account enquiries/ status

- Working with property managers on specific client requirements

- Good excel skills and Microsoft Office in general
